Artist's Statement

David Byrd’s artist statement was written by Byrd in 2012, prior to the Greg Kucera Gallery Seattle exhibition, David Byrd, Introduction: A Life of Observation, that opened April 4–May 18, 2013. This was Byrd's first and last professional gallery exhibition.
